DeRiver offers wide range of activities to cater for various needs and preferences.
Though situated in the heart of the Songeni village, it offers a quiet and calm feeling for people who prefer some form of unwinding.
Social Events & Functions
DeRiver is a great place for social events and functions such as weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, birthdays, and after-tears functions. We also offer a great place for photo shoots, filming and products promotion and advertising.
Quad biking
We offer quad biking with trails offering a fantastic experience and adventure for everyone. Our quad biking trails are along the riverbanks of Nwandlamharhi river with spectacular views of local plants and birds.
Prices: R300 per adult – 30mins | R450 per adult – 45mins
Picnics
DeRiver offers a variety of different picnic options. You can choose the riverside option to enjoy your meal and drinks sounded by boulders with a natural sound of waterflow. You can also opt for the quadbike route-end picnic spot surrounded by long trees and the cheerful chirping of birds as you enjoy your picnic box. Call us to discuss your picnic options and prices.

Mountain Biking
DeRiver offers a spectacular mountain bike trail which consists of rocky terrain built for both for beginners and experienced riders. Riders are allowed to bring their own bikes and there are few available for rent.
Bike Rental: R100 per person (adults only)
Own Bicycle: R50 per person per hour on the trail
Hiking and Walking
DeRiver offers walking and hiking trails. The terrain is challenging but doable given the variety of attractions such as the sound of river flowing, birds and various plant species.
